Yesterday was the first annual TGIF Youth/CQ Valentine's Banquet. I am so proud of all of the youth who performed! Not only did they all do an awesome job, but they did it for the glory of God. These young men and women have been preparing for this night for over two weeks and it was great to see what they all came up with.
Here's a list of some notable performances:
- Dale's amazing vocals of Ethan's Blog - completely blew everyone away
- Kudos to Ciarene for not giving up even though she forgot the words to her song - Great job girl!
- Billy's awesome cover of Michael Buble's "Haven't Met You Yet" - still makes me smile when I think about it
- Shelumiel Jones and his madd break dancing skillz
- Kenneth's hilarious cover of Train's "Hey Soul Sista" on the ukulele
- Danielle's cover of "Valentine" by Kina Grannis
Everyone did an amazing job and I'm SO proud of you guys and gals!
